As a regular visit to Shropshire, I picked up a copy of Ale Sabrina in the White Lion, Bridgnorth. I enjoyed the article on Edinburgh pubs by Alan Thwaites. Thomson’s bar is of course dedicated to the great Glasgow Architect Alexander”Greek”Thomson. I hope one of your contributors will visit Glasgow and sample some of our fine pubs. Of course architecture buffs can see many of Thomson’s buildings. For rail buffs there is of course the Glasgow Subway which like the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway is small but perfectly formed. There is also a Subway Pub Crawl.
